Ease Into Autumn Yoga Retreat
With Susan Mittleman, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT
September 28 - 30, 2018
Slow down…
Get grounded…
Let go…
Breathe…
Reset.
As we shift to the early days of autumn, it’s a great time to be present with the transitions around us and inside us. Some subtle, some not-so subtle.
Enveloped by the healing and ever changing landscape of Elohee, this weekend will give you time to root down and let go, breath, move, find stillness, rebalance and reconnect with your self, the earth, and be receptive to new beginnings.
In Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science, autumn is the time to take stock of your life, release stress, and prepare for winter. We move from pitta (fire) elements to more vata (air, wind) elements. In that vein, our yoga practices will include elements of grounding and balancing, detoxifying, restoration, release, and self healing. We will incorporate breathwork, meditation, including yoga nidra (conscious, deep relaxation,) and an optional ayurvedic practice of self massage (Abhyanga).
There will be time to just take in Elohee: hikes, waterfalls, the pond, delicious food, bonfire, a nap, or just be.
Investment: Elohee offers a variety of room options in the Bald Mountain cottages. If you’d rather bring your own tent, that is possible.
What’s included?
Two nights accommodation (including all taxes, fees, program tuition)
All meals, beverages, 24 hour tea service
Daily yoga practices
Yoga nidra
Bonfire/star gazing
Massage therapy is available for an extra fee and must be requested in advance.
