Meditation Immersion Weekend – SOLD OUT

With Douglas Johnson

March 1 - 3, 2019

On this weekend retreat we will use Yin asanas (passive-static postures), Hatha-yoga asanas (active-static postures) and Pranayamas (yogic breathing techniques) to dive deep into the heart of Zen meditation.

If you do not already know how to sit Zazen, you will receive instruction on the first evening. However, this retreat is not just for people new to Zen. By re-connecting Zen with it’s yogic-roots we will enliven and deepen our practice and hope to break-through to a new relationship with Zen, ourselves and the world we live in.

After years of teaching Zen to people in different ways, I strongly feel that to dive right in with this weekend retreat is the best way to be introduced to the practice or to establish a regular practice. You do not need prior experience with Zen or with yoga to attend, all levels welcome. However, please arrive with an open heart and mind. As my Zen teacher likes to say, Zazen is hard work!
