Another Path Self-Care Retreat with Yoga and Meditation

Self-Care Retreat featuring yoga, meditation and hiking

With Patti Agatston, PhD, LPC, RYT-200, Trainer in Restorative Practices

Join Patti Agatston for connection and reflection circles, all levels yoga (flow and yin) as well as guided meditations and a hike or two.  You can choose to be highly active or take time to rest and restore (or a little of both).  Listen to what your body needs.

Saturday afternoon is available to book a massage, join a 3 mile hike up to Bald Mountain, or just sit by the stunning waterfall next to the Thanksgiving House in meditation or contemplation.

Friday

  • 3:00 – 4:00 pm check in
  • 4:30 – 5:00 Orientation
  • 5:00 – 5:45 Gentle Flow Yoga
  • 6:00 – 7:00 Dinner
  • 7:00 – 8:00 Connection Circle/Guided Meditation
  • 8:00 pm until?  Stargazing/waterfall listening

Saturday:

  • 7:30 – 8:00 Morning Meditation (or walk the grounds on your own)
  • 8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast
  • 9:00 – 9:30 Breath work for stress relief
  • 9:30 – 10:30 Yoga Vinyasa Flow (more vigorous yoga)
  • Break 10:30 – 10:45
  • 10:45 – 11:45 Yin Yoga (mostly sitting on the mat, holding postures for longer time periods to create changes in the myofascial and connective tissue)
  • 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch
  • 12:30 – 3:30 pm free time (massage, hiking, waterfall contemplation)
  • 3:30 – 4:30 The importance of self-care presentation
  • 4:30 – 5:00 Tea Break
  • 5:00 – 5:45 Evening gentle flow yoga
  • 6:00 – 7:00 Dinner
  • 7:30 -8:00 Yoga Nidra (done laying down, creates a soothing state of being, easing stress and anxiety)
  • 8:00 pm – Stargazing/waterfall listening

Sunday:

  • 7:30 – 8:00 Morning Meditation
  • 8:00 – 9:00 Breakfast
  • 9:00 – 9:45 Connection Circle
  • 9:45 – 10:00 Break
  • 10:00 – 11:30 Yin/Yang Yoga  (We will start with yin and end with more vigorous movement)
  • 11:30 – 12:00 Break/Pack
  • 12:00 – 1:00pm lunch, goodbyes
