Leticia Andrade is a portrait photographer based in Peachtree City, Georgia. She was born and raised in the mountains outside of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Leticia moved to the US in the early 90s where she studied Art History at Syracuse University, while developing a career in the fashion design industry for over 10 years. Another 10 years after caring for her two children, she felt it was time to do something that would reignite her passion for the arts and creativity.
In 2016 Leticia Andrade Photography was born. Today her studio invites women of any age and walks of life, to celebrate their power and beauty throughout the portrait process. Her purpose to help women improve confidence and self-value is clearly revealed in her work. In a safe space, free of judgement, Leticia’s ability to connect with her subjects gives them permission to be themselves in a very authentic manner.
Leticia is currently collaborating with other photographers on a book project featuring images and stories of domestic violence survivors. The intent of this book is to be a platform for women to share their experiences, to bring awareness and provide hope and inspiration to all involved.
