Suniray is RYT 200 certified and has been practicing Yoga for 8 years. She was inspired to dig deeper into yogic roots and philosophy after learning that her ancestors (the Nubian Khamitic Afrakans of Egypt) used the element of air – breath through what was called “Ari Ankh Ka” now known as Hatha Yoga. Present day these various sacred movements and poses are still depicted on the walls of temples and pyramids. Suniray instructs various classes including: Restorative Yin, Slow Flow, Meditation, Basics and Advanced Vinyasa. She teaches classes throughout Georgia and has been a guest teacher at various events and workshops throughout the states, sharing her knowledge of health and wellness. As a Speech Language Pathologist, Humanitarian, and Public Servant she has dedicated her life to helping and healing others. Suniray continues on that path by delving deep into the healing arts of Yoga and finding ways to connect all areas of her life. She is a student of life, well traveled, and well taught. Humbled to have teachers all over the world from all walks of life and honored to serve our community through the practice of healing and uplifting.
