Douglas Johnson, the founder of the Mahāpatha Yoga, has been teaching yoga and meditation for over two decades and is an E-RYT-500, YACEP, and a certified Advanced Amrit Method Yoga Nidra Facilitator.
A semi-professional musician all of his adult life Douglas has had music placed in film and video under the name Sound of Seventy Three.
While always enjoying taking part in Kirtan, yoga and music were separate passions of his until recently when he felt called to start offering Kirtan to his students on retreats.
Douglas has been fortunate to have studied and played with several modern Kirtan masters like David Newman, Sean Johnson, Jai Uttal, and Russill Paul.
