Elohee Center is located in the mountains of northeast Georgia.  It is only 90 miles north of metro Atlanta and about 90 miles west of Greenville, SC., but it is a world away.  We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful spaces.

From Atlanta/ East Side
From Atlanta / North and West Sides
From Greenville, SC
From Gainesville & Cleveland
From North Carolina & Clayton

 

From Atlanta/East Side:

  • Take I-85 North to I-985, which changes to GA-365. Continue passed Gainesville to Baldwin, GA
  • Turn left at traffic signal on GA 384 West/North (also known as Duncan Bridge Road) toward Helen and Unicoi State Park
  • Turn left on GA 384 and continue approx. 14 miles until it ends at Hwy 75
  • Turn right on GA 75 and continue 1.4 miles to GA 17
  • Turn right on GA 17 and continue 2.2 miles to GA 255 (Old Sautee Store is the landmark.)
  • Turn left on GA 255 and continue 0.8 mile to Bean Creek Road (2nd street on left, look for Lucille’s Mountain Inn sign at corner.)
  • Turn left on Bean Creek Road and continue 1.6 miles to Hobart Lane. (If you hit a gravel road you have gone too far.)
  • Turn right onto Hobart Lane  (You will see a sign for Elohee Guest Check-In on the right: on the left will be 4 standing mailboxes)
  • Follow signs to either Bald Mountain or the Thanksgiving House.

From Atlanta / North and West Sides:

  • Take GA-400 North, which changes to Long Brach Road/GA-115 toward Dahlonega, GA
  • Turn right at traffic signal on GA-52/GA-115 and continue approx. 12.5 miles to Wilford Ash Pkwy/GA 17 North (just past Nix Elementary School; no traffic signal, only a directional sign pointing left toward Helen). Note: If you miss Wilford Ash Parkway continue approx. 1/4 mile on to the Cleveland city square and turn left on Hwy 129 N and continue approx. 1/2 mile pick the route back up by turning right on Highway 75 N.
  • Turn left on Wilford Ash Parkway/GA 75 North and continue approx. 7.2 miles.
  • Turn right on GA 17 and continue 1.3 miles to Rabun Road (Nacoochee UMC is the landmark.  You will see a sign for Lucille’s Mountain Inn & United Methodist Church.)
  • Turn left on Rabun Road and continue 1.0 mile to Bean Creek Road. (You will pass Lucille’s Mountain Inn on your right-hand side.)
  • Turn left on Bean Creek Road and continue 1.1 miles to Hobart Lane. (If you hit a gravel road, you have gone too far.)
  • Turn right on Hobart Lane  (You will see a sign for Elohee Guest Check-In on the right: on the left will be 4 standing mailboxes)
  • Follow signs to either Bald Mountain or the Thanksgiving House.

 

From Greenville, SC:

  • Take I-85 South toward Atlanta, crossing into Georgia. Exit right at Exit 173, GA-17 toward Lavonia/Toccoa.
  • Turn left at the end of the ramp onto GA-17 North (also known as Jones Street) and continue on GA-17 for approx. 11.9 miles where GA-17 will turn left (Note: If you reach Rock Bottom Rd you have gone 0.10 mile too far)
  • Turn left to stay on GA-17 North (also known as GA-365 and US-123 at certain points) and continue for approx. 11.4 miles to US-441/GA-17/GA-115
  • Turn right US-441/GA-17/GA-115 toward Clarkesville and continue for approx. 5.1 miles where GA-17 will make a slight right turn (portions of this section are also known as GA-197 and GA-115).
  • Continue on GA-17 for another 1.8 miles to the Clarkesville city square.
  • From the square turn left to stay on GA-17, which will also be Monroe St/GA-115 toward Cleveland
  • Continue on GA-17 for another 1.8 miles and make a slight right to stay on GA-17 toward Helen
  • Continue on GA-17 approx. 9 miles to GA 255 (Old Sautee Store is the landmark. Note: Do not turn at GA 255Alt. Continue passed GA 255Alt and look for GA 255 where the Old Sautee Store is the landmark)
  • Turn right on GA 255 and continue 0.8 mile to Bean Creek Rd (2nd street on left, look for Lucille’s Mountain Inn sign at corner.)
  • Turn left on Bean Creek Road and continue 1.6  miles to Hobart Lane.  (If you hit a gravel road, you have gone too far.)
  • Turn right onto Hobart Lane  (You will see a sign for Elohee Guest Check-In on the right: on the left will be 4 standing mailboxes.)
  • Follow signs to either Bald Mountain or the Thanksgiving House

 

From Gainesville & Cleveland:

  • Take GA 129 North to Cleveland
  • Go straight through the Cleveland city square on GA 129 and continue approx. 1/2 mile to GA 75
  • Turn right on GA 75 toward Helen and continue approx. 7 miles to GA 17
  • Turn right on GA 17 and continue 1.3 miles to Rabun Road (Nacoochee UMC is the landmark.  You will see a sign for Lucille’s Mountain Inn & United Methodist Church.)
  • Turn left on Rabun Road and continue 1.0 mile until you come to Bean Creek Road. (You will pass Lucille’s Mountain Inn on your right- hand side.)
  • Turn left on Bean Creek Road and continue 1.1 miles to Hobart Lane.  (If you hit a gravel road, you have gone too far.)
  • Turn right on Hobart Lane  (You will see a sign for Elohee Guest Check-In on the right: on the left will be 4 standing mailboxes)
  • Follow signs to either Bald Mountain or the Thanksgiving House

 

From North Carolina & Clayton:

  • Take GA 441 South to GA 385
  • Exit at GA-385 to the Clarkesville city square.
  • Turn right on GA-17 (also known as Monroe St/GA-115) toward Cleveland
  • Continue on GA-17 for another 1.8 miles and make a slight right to stay on GA-17 toward Helen
  • Proceed west on GA-17 North for approx. 9 miles to GA 255 (Old Sautee Store is the landmark. Note: Do not turn at GA 255Alt. Continue passed GA 255Alt and look for GA 255 where the Old Sautee Store is the landmark)
  • Turn right on GA 255 and continue 0.8 mile to Bean Creek Rd (2nd street on left, look for Lucille’s Mountain Inn sign at corner)
